Sources of Stress
To
truly understand personal stress and to make your life more fulfilling
and enjoyable, you must identify the specific sources of stress in your
life. I have identified seven key dimensions in life that,
collectively describe a useful profile of one’s unique identity and
level of self-esteem. |
Taken
together these seven key dimensions define who we are, how we live our
life, and how various life forces impact us. They feed directly
into our self-perception. If you’ve taken the time to be truly
reflective and to think through each of these, then you should be able
to identify the one, two, or three that are currently causing you the
most stress…and perhaps the two or three that are your greatest sources
of joy. The next step is to lay out a personal action plan to
make the commitment to change. |
